Hello Everyone...
The Herring Gull is a pretty common bird and can be found across much of North America. It is a medium to large gull with a white head and underparts. Its back is light gray in color and has black wingtips with white spots. Its bill is yellow with a red spot near the tip of the lower mandible.
These photo's were taken on Apr 11th on the shores of the Grand Traverse Bay.
