Hello Everyone...
These photo's of the Eastern Kingbird were taken at the Chippewa Nature Center on May 2nd. These birds are about 8 inches in length. They are in the Flycatcher family. Their food consists of flying insects and larvae. The white band across the tail tips identifies this species. A red crown mark is concealed and rarely seen.
