Birds ~~ Sandhill Cranes
Hello Everyone...
While walking the grounds at the Chippewa Nature Center, a pair of Sandhill Cranes took flight. These birds are about 4 feet in length and have a wing span of about 7 feet. They have long legs and long necks, gray in color often stained with a color of rust. Note the red crown.
As you can see, it was another gray gloomy day in Michigan. These photo's were taken on Mar 27th.
