These photo's of the Purple Martin Swallows were taken on May 19, 2010 at the Green Hills Golf Course. These birds have been expectionally hard for me to photograph as their feathers are very glossy and reflect the sunlight.
These photo's of a Barn Swallow were taken at the Pinconning County Park on July 11th. These birds are 6 to 7 inches in length. They nest on beams inside barns or wooden structures. They are the only swallows that have a truly swallow tail and is the only swallow with white tail spots.
