Hello Everyone...
These photo's of a Wood Thrush were taken at the Chippewa Nature Center on May 16th. This is my first sighting of this bird. They are about 8 inches in length and are rusty-headed. They are smaller then a robin and are plumper than other brown thrushes. They are distinguished by their distinctly orange cast about the head and have larger, more numerous distinctive round spots underneath.
Enjoy!!
