Hello Everyone...
These photo's were taken at the Chippewa Nature Center on July 16th during the Wildlife Recovery Association's presentation. What an awesome program!! Mr. Roger's allows the children to take a close-up look at the birds. The children get so excited, especially with the Great Horned Owl.
Please understand the raptors Mr. Roger's has in his presentation are birds that he cares for. They have been orphaned and/or injured and they can not be returned to the wild.
However, the main objective for the Wildlife Recovery Association is to always return a wild bird to its particular habitat in its own territory with all its wildness intact. Enjoy!
